Cancun Golf Club at Pok-Ta-Pok

A Robert Trent Jones II designed course, the Cancun Golf Club at Pok-Ta-Pok is a popular choice among true golf aficionados. Located in the hotel zone at Bulevar Kukulkan, this 18-hole course offers a package at $145, which includes greens fees, a delicious meal and complimentary golf cart. Even seasoned pros will find themselves in an entirely unique and challenging atmosphere, where authentic Mayan ruins serve as historical hazards. Along with a breath-taking view of the Nichupte Lagoon, the Cancun Golf Club features a driving range, high-end pro shop with rental equipment, dual putting greens and multiple tennis courts. An on-site restaurant and bar will satiate the hunger you’ll build up after a day spent on the green.

Iberostar Cancun Golf Course

Vacationers will find a championship course at the Iberostar Cancun Golf Course. This large facility offers 18 holes located around the Ruinas Del Rey area. During Cancun’s peak tourist season, patrons should expect to pay around $200 for greens fees, including a cart rental. Guests staying at the Iberostar Cancun are treated to discounted prices. Many visitors flock to this hotel because it is one of only two lodging facilities in Cancun that features an on-site golf course. Any guest in need of golfing equipment may stop by the club for rental shoes and clubs.

Moon Palace Spa & Golf Club

Boasting the title of Jack Nicklaus’ first signature golf course in Cancun, the Moon Palace Spa & Golf Club offers travelers a superb golfing experience. Expect to pay green fees around $260, which includes beverages, light snacks and cart rentals. This championship course strives for ecological compatibility, conserving nature by incorporating native mangroves and local vegetation. Riviera Maya Golf Club

At the Riviera Maya Golf Club, guests will find a Robert Trent Jones designed paradise. This course capitalizes on its location amid 720 acres along the exotic Mayan jungle. With an impressive 36 holes, the greens stretch along lakes, cenotes and lush vegetation. This facility is also equipped with two driving ranges, a chipping area, large putting green and exclusive clubhouse. Featuring the latest in technological equipment, this course offers GPS capabilities and a virtual program that will assist golfers in choosing the best clubs for each hole.  Managed by the Bahia Principe Riviera Maya Resort group, the enormous clubhouse is loaded with features, including two restaurants, a variety of bars, a relaxing spa, multiple tennis courts, a quality golf shop and a fitness center.

Playa Paraiso Golf Club

Just a 30-minute drive from the Cancun International Airport, the Playa Paraiso Golf Club offers a scenic 18-hole course created by P.B. Dye. Along with a lit driving range and putting green, this 6,800 yard facility is equipped with showers and lockers for both genders, as well as a quality Pro Shop stocked with brand names like Nike and Titleist. Patrons of the Playa Paraiso will be thrilled by the course’s all-inclusive services. Along with your greens fees, you’ll be treated to complimentary food and drinks, which can even be delivered to the green while you golf.

Cozumel Country Club

The first golf course to be created on its namesake island, the Cozumel Country Club Golf Course is another Nicklaus designed facility that took a total of five years to complete. A truly eco-friendly course, the Cozumel Country Club received the coveted certification for Environmental Planning on behalf of the Audubon international. Golfers will enjoy an enchanting setting that works to preserve the pre-existing mangroves and marshes.

El Camaleon Mayakoba

Set along the coast of the Caribbean Sea, the El Camaleon Mayakoba golf course features 18-holes with dunes, cenotes, limestone and mangrove hazards. Golfers are invited to the David Leadbetter academy for instruction and technique lessons, or head down to the double-sided driving range for some practice. Unique offerings of El Camaleon includes their collection of golf carts that come equipped with GPS technology, allowing players to track yardage, record their scores, and remotely order refreshments.

Puerto Cancun Golf Course

Located between Cancun’s bustling Hotel Zone and downtown area, the Puerto Cancun Golf Course offers an exclusive golfing experience. The award-winning designer Tom Weiskopf designed this 18-hole course. The facilities include a full practice range, rental equipment, lockers and shower areas, professional lessons and a shop with merchandise.
