Temple of the Sea is one of several temples, be it a small one, located within a short space of land that was built by the ancient Mayans. It is a one room temple that over looks the Sea, and visitors can tour the stone structure.
Temple Of The Sea is located in the Riviera Maya, in Quintana Roo; it's two miles (three and a half kilometers) to the East of Tulum.
And, one of the most delightful options while spending a few hours exploring the area could be enjoying a meal at a restaurant within traveling distance of this historical site. El Mirador, a restaurant where they dish out their specialty: juices & smoothies, and is very close-by, making it a great option for patrons here. The restaurant is just within walking distance of this site's location, which makes it simple to approach, whether you and your group prefer to grab a quick bite or stay for a full meal. Zazil Kin Beach Bar and Santa Fe are a couple other nearby lunch and dinner possibilities. At Santa Fe you shouldn't ask for your check without trying their specialty, seafood.
Consider staying in the Riviera Maya if you plan on visiting Temple Of The Sea, since those visiting this part of Cancun and the Mexican Caribbean will have convenient access to the historical site during their visit. There isn't much congestion in the area near the historic site, especially as there are so few hotel rooms nearby.
